  • Ghost Town Trail -
    - This unique trail takes you through the remains of five ghost towns, abandoned after a coal rush. On top of it all, "Rusty River," which runs red as blood due to iron drainage from the old minds can be seen from the trail. It's a totally unforgettable experience!
  • Wicked Wissahickon Valley -
    - Continuing with the foreboding theme, Wicked Wissahickon Valley is an awesome ride with some excellent singletrack in the city.
  • Blue Marsh Lake -
    - Though primarily a recreational gold mining area, this enormous park is a haven for Mountain Bikers due to its 24 mile singletrack winding across the lakeshore. While you should never let your guard down, it is surprsingly free of rocks and roots, and is surprisingly non-technical. Clearly there is more to do here than strike it rich.
